The Program

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain® is an approach developed by Dr. Betty Edwards. Published as a similarly titled book, it has sold more than 2.5 million copies and translated into thirteen languages.

Dr Betty Edward’s method has enabled millions of people around the world to learn to draw. In a short span of 5 days, students learn to master a skill previously thought impossible – the skill of drawing.

“Not only a (program) about drawing, it is about living.
This brilliant approach to the teaching of drawing… emancipates.”

Los Angeles Times

What Others Say

Aren’t they amazing? At the beginning, these people didn’t look as though they had much artistic ability.. But only a few days later, everybody could really draw!” – Carol Dweck, renowned Stanford University psychologist, in her bestseller, Mindset: The New Psychology of Success

Apart from the drawing, .. it gave me the sense of “growth” so important to happiness.” – Gretchen Rubin, NY Times Best-selling author of The Happiness Project

When I looked at the drawing – finally seeing it as a whole – I was shocked. I was looking at myself – unmistakably. The initial surprise gave way quickly to exhilaration. It made me realize, for the first time, how much I had always wanted to draw.” – Tony Schwartz, reporter and columnist for The NY Times, in The Art Of The Mind: How I Learned To Draw, New York Magazine
